Great big old gas guzzling truck with a catch***

by Jake on 7/6/2025 9:32:40 PM

Amazing big old truck. Comfortable and gas guzzling lol however you’ll need to be some what mechanically inclined and understand how to do a Heli coil. It’s GOING to blow plugs but it’s super easy to re tap with kits found online for 60 bucks. Just follow an instructional video it’s super easy. Easiest truck I ever have work on with the things it’s needed. It’s almost like they cared about the mechanic/garage dad when making this. lol much love - Jake

        Ford Excursion

by Big Daddy wagon on 6/5/2025 9:17:25 PM

I had the 5.4 l V8 never had an issue with it. Four-wheel drive. It's a honking huge vehicle. You can put a lot of gear and people in it. It rode really nice. But it go horrible gas mileage like 14 mi to the gallon on the highway at like 72 mph. Anything over that? It got really thirsty. But if you're a guy that likes to haul around a bunch of kids or maybe a hunter and you want to put your dogs in the back plenty of room for that or drive it around on the farm and put baby cows back there. Been there done that. Anyways. Pretty reliable vehicle. No major problems. If you're looking to get a really big SUV, definitely take a look at a Ford Excursion. I would go with a diesel model myself but I didn't know much about them when I bought it.

        Best vehicle ever made!

by Sakonnet on 11/26/2024 11:27:20 PM

I bought this gem 6 weeks ago and would do it again in a heartbeat. It arrived by truck from AZ (I'm in RI). It looks like it just left the showroom, beautiful inside, out and under the hood. Runs like a charm and handles like a dream.
